The Lead Guitar Track Episode 3 (Legacy Lesson)
leadguitar.school was a site for training on how to develop lead guitar schools.
We’ll start talking about effects and keep working on our finger exercises.

THIS WEEK we are starting to connect the notes in a scale with what we hear when we listen to a song. You’ll need to do some singing. It’s true. You can do it. The goal here is to connect a pitch with the number of note it is in the scale. This will be really important as we move forward to make it natural for you to “sing” with your guitar.
We’ll talk some about multi effects processors. Here are some ideas I recommend:
Look at what you can do with your iPhone or iPad:
- Ampkit+
- AmpliTube
- Capo
- TabToolkit
- ChordMate
- Logic’s Guitar Recording Toolbox
- Guitar Tuner
- Guitarist’s Reference
- Setlist
Go all out with this one.
I hope to do a technology episode on your guitar with IOS devices in the future.
For something more “in the box,” I’d check these out:
Remember to check out ebay for some great deals.
Finally… we’ve got some tips on working through the first exercise and a new one to commit to finger memory.
Don’t forget to let me know how it’s going. There was a video-posting homework assignment.
Tell your friends to come and check it out.
